ABOUT US

Bread & Roses is a cafe and a bistro. The owners are a couple who live in Melville, so 100% from the “hood”, although Julia is French and Ishmael is from Zimbabwe! Everything is homemade and cooked on order.

We bake our own bread and deserts. Our moto is simple, fresh, delicious! The menue changes with the seasons and offers lots of healthy and vegetarian options. We have become popular for our “unusual breakfasts” such as the Spicy Egg Frittata with Chorizo and Pancetta, the Salmon Potato Cakes, or the Decadent Eggs Juliette.

We offer a selection freshly squeezed juices. We have a short, but interesting and very well priced wine list! Come check us out!
