Founded in 2003, Cost2Build has been trading for over 10 years and are now operating effectively across South Africa. We realise that taking on a building project is a daunting task, so we endeavour to ensure that every project we manage be as hassle free for our clients as possible.

Feasibilities & Budget Estimates

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

  • Assist Clients in determining to costs for the project:
  • Local Authority Applications
  • Professionals
  • Materials and labour costs
  • Provide estimates for the construction cost of the building
  • Assist the Client in amending their plans to suit the budget
  • Provide estimates to the Client to give to the banks for loan application

The Design Stage - Architects & Engineers

Cost2Build will assist you in appointing the right Architect and Engineers and also assist with the interior design upon request.

We will ensure the proper and correct working drawings for your projects are issued.

Pre-contract Quantity Surveyor

Cost2Build will also provide the Client with a Schedule of Materials for general building trades; namely: Earthworks, Concrete, Formwork, Reinforcement, Brickwork, Plaster and Paint.

Cost2Build will provide Clients with a Bill of Quantities

Lump Sum Quotes often lead to compromise in quality due to omissions in the pricing and dissatisfaction

BoQ's help both the Client and Contractor in preventing any omissions

BoQ's also assist Clients and Contractors in pricing any variations, additions or omission

BoQ's also provide a legal document for the Client to enter into with the Contractor.

Project & Contract Management

Project Management Services

post tenderC2B will undertake to represent the clients most suited to this role, namely Developers, Home Owners wanting to build and Architects. C2B will:

  • Develop the Project Management Programme.
  • Attend technical, financial and progress meetings.
  • Monitor and assess the project progress, ensuring remedial action is implemented to bring the project back to speed, if required.
  • Monitor and assess the project finances.
  • Monitor and assess Quality Control and National Regulatory Performance criteria (NHBRC).
  • Monitor and Assess the Client's Health & Safety Risks.
  • Ensure Environmental adherence.
  • Assist the Client in providing the Contractors with the correct information to ensure project progress in maintained.
  • Advise the Client on the correct form of contract for the project duration.
  • To assist the Client in the means of dispute resolution, should the need arise.
  • Provide on-site inspection services at every stage of the building process, ensuring your home is built according to specifications and accepted standard building practices.

Post Contract Quantity Surveying

  • qsC2B will represent the Clients in this role and will:
  • Evaluate the work done and issue monthly Certificates to the Client for payment
  • Issue Cost Reports
  • Appoint Selected or Nominated Sub-Contractors
  • Resolve any contractual issues with the Contractor
  • Re-measure and negotiate the Final Account with the Contractor.

Our company will take all the hassle of dealing with the builders, sub-contractors and designers out of your hands and give the finances of your build back to you to manage.

Costs are paid directly to suppliers of goods and services under our direction. Consulting fees are paid on an agreed value with an incentive program designed to drive down costs.
