Footwear

• Soleflex:

Soleflex are custom comfort footwear, a proudly South-African product! The shoes are hand stitched using some of the finest full grain leather in various colours. Customised to patient’s requirements to fit correctly and comfortably for the best possible foot health. The insole, made from synthetic latex, is non allergenic and has memory capacity which means it retains its cellular structure. The insole lining are made from a breathable micro fibre that limit skin-irritations and absorbs perspiration.

The insoles can be removed completely making it easy to wash and dry them. This is also ideal for patients with custom made inner soles as they can put their custom innersoles in the shoes.

The outer sole are made from a low density polyurethane which means its light weight for more comfort, with strength and flexibility.

How Does A Compression Sock Work?

Compression stockings are specially designed to apply pressure to your lower legs, helping to maintain blood flow and reduce discomfort and swelling.

Do Compression Socks Help With Shin Splints?

Are compression socks or sleeves good for shin splints, calf cramps/strains, and Achilles tendonitis? The answer is yes, however, they will not cure any condition if the only thing you are doing to help your injury is wear compression.
