McAllisters Coffee Bar opened in the Durban CBD in 1996. The small coffee shop wooed clients, using only the freshest ingredients. Serving excellent home-style meals, snacks and refreshments, with an eye, even then, on what the clients wanted, Greg and Carol McAllister had a humble beginning, with no limit to future growth. With hard work and perseverance, McAllisters Coffee Bar served customers until larger premises were required. Customised floor space was sought and the team moved to the current location in Stamford Hill.

Comprehensive and professional catering became the focus and McAllisters Coffee Bar transformed into McAllisters Catering.

This bold move set the tone for the coming years as McAllisters Catering has become established within the hospitality industry.

Providing the best for each and every client is nothing new - we've been creating memorable events and exquisite cuisine for over 20 years and will continue to do so for decades to come. Our eventing repertoire includes corporate events, private events, family functions, ethnic and traditional weddings and functions, parties, baby showers, and much more. We acknowledge that we are industry leaders because we are open to discussing all our client's requirements, addressing needs and surpassing expectations. Our menu's are Vegetarian and Halaal friendly. Through working to understand an individual client's needs, and advanced views of service delivery, we are set apart from the pack. With innovative menu offerings, event concepts that indulge the senses and assistance down to the last detail, we offer a truly complete package when it comes to catering and events.
