Situated just off the N3 in the picturesque suburb of Hilton and at the gateway to Natal Midlands lies Mendola. This beautiful venue has been lovingly transformed into the venue for your very special day.

Seating 100 guests comfortably, the venue has been decorated in a timeless Vintage Style. Round tables with clear tiffany chairs and cushions create an unforgettable fairy tale effect that every bride searches for.

ACCOMMODATION

Situated just off the N3 in the picturesque suburb of Hilton and the Gateway to the KZN midlands lies Mendola. Just 11km from Pietermaritzburg and 19 km from the Pietermaritzburg Airport. This beautiful property is next door to the New Hilton Life Hospital and across the road from Grace College . Hilton Collage and St Anne's School two of the best private schools in KZN are in close proximity as well as the Village of Hilton

Mendola has 6 taste fully decorated Self Catering cottages that each sleep 4 people in two separate bedrooms with queen size beds . The kitchens are equipped with Fridge , Stove , Oven , Microwave , Toaster and Kettle . The open plan lounge has TV with DSTV Channels and Wi Fi Access, all linen is supplied and cottages are serviced daily. Bathrooms have both a bath and separate shower with towels supplied.

There is a designated under cover parking bay with ample extra parking with in Mendola. There is a security guard that patrols in the evenings even though the entire property is fenced with guard at the main gate.

Rates are competitive and dependant on the season and the amount of nights required. We will happily negotiate a long term rate should you require . So if moving home or on a work contract that requires you to stay in our village for a month or more look no further than Mendola .

VENUE HIRE

The hire of the venue includes, tables, tiffany chairs, crockery, cutlery, cream linen table cloths, glassware, barmen and waitresses.Excluded are flowers, candles, décor, cake, music, fairy lights, photographer, videographer, and minister. However we do a have a list of preferred local suppliers and we will be glad to assist.

The venue hire charge is taken as a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Please note that a cancellation will forfeit your deposit.

CATERING

We have a selection of menus to choose from including ranging from R185.00 to R285.00 per person. Should you wish to adjust your menu with additional options we gladly assist and quote according.

We suggest a plated and served first course with a buffet style main course consisting of 2 meat dishes and a selection of fresh vegetables and side salads. We recommend desserts and tea and coffee to end.

We can also cater for the option of additional canapes and finger snacks to start and if you think it will be a late evening a cheese board can be provided.
