TLC Computers (Pty) Ltd's roots

I was first introduced to the IT Industry in 1994, when I was supplied with my first computer via my parents from a small but dynamic computer shop called TLC Computers - founded and then owned by the late Steve Murray at the time - who was an old school IT technician - who became a true mentor to me in the local IT sphere.

Steve, after taking me in and employing me in his shop to assist, eventually started mentoring me as a computer technician, later allowing me to graciously take over his computer repair shop - my first big financial transaction and purchase - for me to use the name TLC Computers as my own.

The then TLC Computers as a sole-proprietorship was operating through all of its ups, downs, lessons learnt, losses begot and rewards received - all as preparation in the tech sector later on.

All of these skills and experiences that were aquired back then were applied additionally in the fields of ministry and radio broadcasting.

After all the years of reaching into and being influenced by all these fields and sectors, the private company TLC Computers (Pty) Ltd was born on 31 October 2023, hereby acknowledging the roots in the name TLC Computers, and also remembering where we started with our mentor of Tender Loving Care in the computer industry. - Bruce White (Director of TLC Computers Pty Ltd)
