Eversince the new owner took over, Vetkoek Paleis does not remind me of the Willie Esterhuizen show with the same name. Vetkoek Paleis was still cheap and u got huge vetkoeke. Now u pay twice as much and only get half a vetkoek. Bring back the old menu and it will be a goldmine again.

Vetkoek Palace makes the best vetkoek hands down. It always makes me the of Willie Esterhuizen's show Vetkoekpales from the 90's. Curry mince and cheese vetkoek. YUM YUM! If I read the comments I have received that next time I go there I must try the chicken mushroom fillng. Would do so! Thank you!

This place brings back great memories to myself and my family. Best vetkoek eva must say its really big tho cos I could never finish it. But regardless its tasty...Good food, great service.
