Port Elizabeth based Vuka Steel, provides reinforcing solutions to the building and civil engineering industries, including the supply, cut, bend, deliver of high tensile and mild steel reinforcing. Vuka Steel offers clients a complete steel reinforcing solution, which includes the additional on-site service of placing and wiring the reinforcing products in position. Vuka Steel is an independent reinforcement supplier and not affiliated/associated to any civil or building company.

Vuka Steel cut and bend the reinforced bars according to the bending schedules supplied by the customer. Vuka Steel can refer customers to qualified, practicing engineers to assist with the drawing-up of bending schedules.

Brief History

Vuka Steel Started in 1999 as a fixing sub Contractor Company. August 2003 saw Vuka opening its doors to its factory and started manufacturing re-bar to requirements. Vuka has grown from a small concern to a company that competes with biggest of role players in the market, Without loosing the personal touch with their customers.

Vuka utilises their own fixing teams and seldom uses sub-contractors ensuring quality and reliability, Which has made us what we are today.

The Mild & high tensile strength Reinforced Bars are supplied in standard diameters, lengths and grades of steel with Special diameters, lengths and grades available on request.

• Mesh Reinforcing

Mesh reinforcing is a convenient and cost effective alternative to conventional bar reinforcement generally used in surface beds (concrete floor slabs on fill) and concrete roads, mesh can also be used in suspended floor slabs, concrete walls, culverts, drains and composite brick and concrete retaining walls.
