First we had to wait over 6 weeks for them to come and put in the electric box and then the manager and her collougues keep walking in and out the office when you ask for assistance. We had to go to the P.E. branch for them to push forward the installation.
Then we finally got them to come and then they wanted to sell us a side job for them to install electricity. Now they started charging us over R2500 more than the electric company to come fix some of the wiring problem. Fine no problem.
Now they are refusing to come and install as per booking because we refused their services. [Sivuyile is one of the guys that are refusing to come and finish the instalation of the box]
The manager and her conterparts do not follow protocols. All they want is to take advantage and make deals outside of the department.
I dont think as a professional working for the govenment you do people favours without following the protocals of putting in the electricity boxes.
Or am I stupid?
Anyways I' writing in frustration that my mother, who is in her old age, has had to deal with this department and its unprofessionalsim. The stress.
Why cant you set the date and then make the appoinment. Why are they allowed to do they own dealings outside of the protocol of the department? Why is it that we had to chase after these people just to enquire about the box [over 3 weeks] "no the manager is out, no the manager is on leave etc"
This is a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and go to P.E. branch rather.
I will personally expose you and your department cause clearly youre unprofessional and corrupt.
We will see what happens tomorrow.
