Well, these people just stole my lawnmower. 6 Weeks ago I took it to them to service it. Never heard from them again, until I called and was told brushes were needed. Then I get an SMS saying I should pay almost R2000 to collect it. At no stage did they call me to discuss this expenditure. When I spoke to the owner, Kevin, he said unless I pay the money they will sell the mower to "defray expenses." It is outrageous that a business spends more on repairs than the value of the machine, just to force the public to give up their goods so they can keep them. Furthermore I was told that Ryobi is a rip off, that they sell cheap machines, and then charge a fortune for spares later, as if it's not them that overhauled the machine without speaking to me, but Ryobi who is to blame.
